[Keith doesn't hesitate to take that hand or move into Shiro's arms. This. This is where he wanted to be right now, after everything that's happened. And the way Shiro holds him, Keith gets the sense that they both need this right now. Leaning into the other man, he nods, barely moving, not wanting to dislodge the way Shiro is leaning into his head.]

We're alive. World didn't end.

[He shifts just enough to brush a kiss to Shiro's throat.] I hope I didn't wake you up. I needed to see you.

You didn’t, I’ve been awake this whole time. [He laughs but there’s no humor in it.] Stuck in my own head.

[He was thinking about Allura and about the prices paid. How much they have given and given over and over again to keep people safe. He sighs,] I’m worried about Allura. About you. About everyone. I just.

[He gently tugs Keith towards the bed, asking without words for the comfort they both need.] Stay with me tonight?

[His voice is tentative as if asking is not something he’s used to doing. And it isn’t. He doesn’t ask for things often. Tonight he needs Keith.]

[Keith starts to tell Shiro not to worry about him, but he understands the sentiment. He worries about Shiro, about everyone. He just deals with his worrying differently. He lets himself be pulled towards the bed.]

Yeah. I mean, of course.

[Keith urges Shiro back into the bed and climbs in to join him. He can hear that tentative tone in Shiro's voice, and rare as it might be, he wants to know what Shiro wants, what he needs.] This is the only place I want to be.

[He's trying to be better about being more open about his feelings, bit by bit. Once they're both settled, he leans closer to steal a soft, lingering kiss.] So let's get you out of your own head.

[His breath leaves him in a rush as he sits on the bed and slips under the covers as directed. He automatically moves his left arm to let Keith settle up against his chest. Shiro brings his hand up to slide his fingers into Keith's dark hair. Some of the tension is already leaving him.

One piece of his world, an important piece, is breathing right beside him. Some gestures as so automatic that he doesn't think about them, turning his head to meet Keith halfway is becoming one of them. He chases the kiss, careful to make it known that's exactly what he's doing. Keith struggles with expressing himself and he wants to give him every chance to pull away if something is too much.

He touches the side of Keith's face, brushing back his hair as he looks into his eyes.]

You're doing a good job of that already.

[There it is. That slight fading of tension out of Shiro, if he has his way he'll scatter the rest of it away too bit by bit. He leans into him, all too happy to meet that kiss as long as Shiro likes.

He slips one hand up along Shiro's side, slipping beneath his t-shirt, running over skin. Oh Keith doesn't want to pull away at all. On the contrary, he wants to chase every last bit of this moment.]

Good. That's the plan. Let's see if I can do even better.

[His breath catches. Keith’s fingers are warm on his skin. He finds it a little difficult to think of anything but the gorgeous man laying in bed with him.

He brushes his fingers against the back of Keith’s neck and back up into his hair. He leans in to kiss him again and murmurs,] You have my attention. All of it.

[They have lazily made out in bed before. It is a fun past time that keeps them from necking on the couch like a pair of teenagers. He slips his hand and Keith’s side up under the edge of his shirt.] Show me this plan.

[Keith smiles right to Shiro's lips at that, murmuring a soft sound of approval at the feeling of those fingers in his hair. As it so happens, Shiro has all of Keith's attention too.

He usually does.

His hand edges up along Shiro's side, moving in to continue up over his chest. There's a flicker of a grin at the words and he nudges at him, urging Shiro to lie more on his back. And if he does Keith moves, all fluid motion, straddling the other man's waist before leaning down to touch a kiss to his lips again and then again and again, slow and lazy and deliberate.] Happy to.

[The bed creaks as Keith’s weight fully settles on top of him. He looks gorgeous in the partial city lights. He itches to touch him. Shiro slides his hands up Keith’s thighs and his sides as Keith’s mouth closes on his.

He slips his hands just under Keith’s shirt as their lips meet again in the slow, lazy way he has come to enjoy as a way to wind down. His tongue brushes against his and the taste of Keith settles him fully into their private world that belongs to them alone.

His hands slip up over Keith’s back under the shirt.]

[Keith can't quite keep quiet,though most of the sounds he makes are lost to the kiss. Kissing Shiro has become deliciously familiar, and Keith still finds himself struck with how lucky he is that somehow this is his.

He doesn't bother trying to hide the way he arches beneath Shiro's touch.

Breaking from his lips, he leans down to rest his forehead against Shiro's, his hands dragging up along his chest still, catching his shirt and pushing it up as he does.]

I love you so much. Do you know?

[Anticipation dashes down his spine as he rests his hands back on Keith’s hips. He could play Keith’s body like an instrument and Keith would let him do it. Heat curls in his stomach as they break from the kiss. He smiles up at him, leans into the brush of Keith’s hands.]

I know. I love you with everything I am, Keith. [He says, as he gently pushes Keith back enough to grab his shirt and pull it up over his head. He tosses it off the bed and reaches up to pull Keith back down into a fiery kiss.

He is still holding back but, as he nips at his bottom lip to ask to be let inside, he tries to communicate how much Keith means to him.]

Shiro... [And that's what matters, that Shiro knows Keith loves him, and somehow loves him back. If he does nothing else with his life from this point forward, that's a pretty good success right there.

Of course, Shiro taking off his shirt is also an amazing accomplishment. There's no force in the universe that could stop Keith from running his hands over that chest, sinking eagerly into that next kiss.

So. He's already feeling a great deal better about tonight. Funny how that works]

Keith... [They survived. Even with prices paid that he can't quite remember, all of them lived through what could have been the end. It doesn't have quite the adrenaline high of surviving a battle that had been harrowing but the sense of mortality is there.

He sighs under Keith and grins up at him with a feral light in his eyes. When he leans up to kiss him again, he claims Keith's mouth in a kiss that has nothing gentle about it. He kisses Keith like Keith belongs to him. His hands squeeze Keith's hips and slide back up under his shirt. He grips the edge of it as he pulls back from Keith's kiss bitten lips enough to breathe.]

This needs to come off. [Normally he has brakes and would ask far Keith is comfortable with going. Set limits. Not tonight. Tonight he just wants to touch Keith and sink into this safe space for just the two of them.]

[That look on Shiro's face is goddamned devastating in the moment. He's by far the most beautiful man that Keith has ever seen in his life. And he's his. He draws back from the kiss, breathless and wild eyed given the fire that's been stirred up in him.]

Yeah, yeah it does.

[He agrees, reaching back to catch his shirt and drag it over his head, tossing it aside. Keith doesn't need brakes or limits. Not tonight. Not with Shiro. The entire world has faded away beyond this room.

His hands map down Shiro's chest once more and he leans close to kiss down Shiro's jaw, to his neck, up to his ear where he breathes, voice low, more breath than sound.] I want you, Shiro.

[He can never get away with how good Keith looks when passions are high. He already looks halfway to debauched and they’ve barely done anything. His thoughts scatter as Keith paints fire down his neck and he arches into it with a hissed breath.

He laughs, one hand resting on Keith’s side.] You have me, Keith.

[He runs his leg along Keith’s hip and wraps it around, urging him closer with his heel against Keith’s back.] We survived, [He says as he leans up to kiss Keith again. It will never get tiring. Keith kisses like he flies and there’s something about that he can’t get enough of.]

I want you too. Right here, right now. I don’t care who leads. I just want, [He just wants to take the chances he hasn’t realized could be limited. He isn’t the most sex driven of individuals. His sickness made it difficult to even want it. But the intimacy is something he enjoys and right now he craves that closeness.] I just want to be close to you tonight. As close as we can get.

[That draws a smile over his face. He does have him, doesn't he? Keith never considered himself a possessive person, and he generally isn't, but this thing between him and Shiro is so precious, means so much.

He lets himself be pulled in closer, muffling a soft groan to Shiro's lips as he returns that next kiss, pouring everything he is and has into it.]

Good. I want that too.

[Like he never has before. This is new ground for Keith. The way his life has gone, sex hasn't been a part of it. But oh he wants Shiro this way, that closeness, that intimacy. And then there's also the fact that Shiro is the most attractive person that he has ever set eyes on, the fact that even the simplest touch from the other man tends to set his skin ablaze.]

I want to be close to you.

[His hand drops to the waistband of Shiro's pajama pants, catching there and tugging, looking to the other man with a smile starting on his lips, a wild light in violet eyes, waiting for permission.] I want to know what you feel like inside me.

I've never been with anyone else before. [Keith admits, but there's no hesitation in him at all. He wants to give himself to Shiro this way, every way really, but one step at a time.]

[He lets out the breath of air he had no idea he had been holding. He has no preference but it makes it infinitely easier that Keith does. He sits up, bracing himself against the headboard of his bed and smiles back at him. His eyes are warm full of all the love he has for this man. Shiro cups Keith’s cheek with his hand and brushes his thumb across his cheek.]

If you get uncomfortable we’ll stop and talk about it. If you want to stop at any point, just tell me. There’s nothing wrong with that. [Now is not the time to talk about some of his failed times before the first. All that matters is Keith. He leans in and presses his lips to his as he reaches to pull him closer. He’s aware of where Keith’s hand is.

His hand drops down cover the hand on his waistband and gently press down. Wordless permission for Keith to do what he wants. He releases his hand to let him do that.] I’ve got you.

[Keith fully wants everything and every way with Shiro, but since they have to start somewhere, well. It's a good place to start. Keith whose keeps walls around himself more like armored ramparts than simple walls, and he doesn't let them down easily. But Shiro has found his way through every last defense he has, and Keith wants it that way, wants nothing between them. There's a vulnerability to wanting someone so much, loving someone so much, and it's terrifying sometimes. Or it would be if it weren't Shiro.

So Keith just smiles at the words, nodding. That's Shiro.]

Okay. [Keith lets himself be drawn closer, touching a kiss to the other man's lips.] I know. I trust you. [A small smile, another stolen kiss.] I've got you too.

[He takes that permission for what it is though, fingers slipping beneath the fabric of his pants to slip inside, seeking out his length.]

[He grips Keith’s shoulder to steady himself. It has been more than two years since anyone has been allowed this close to him. He leans into Keith and runs his hand up and down his side. This slow exploration is different than any one he’s ever been with.

It was always hurried as if there was no time left and in a way he felt like he had been approaching a deadline. But here, it feels like they have forever. He kisses Keith’s jaw and down the side of his neck.

He nips at his neck and down to his shoulder. He can’t find any more words, not right now.]

[Keith is happy to take his time with this -- for now at least. He's new to this, but there's nothing tentative, there's no hesitation in this. He wants to learn every inch of Shiro, wants to find out what makes him gasp or moan, what he likes, what drives him wild.

His head falls to the side to allow Shiro better access, the feeling of that mouth, those teeth moving over his skin. His hand wraps around him, still slow and exploring. His other hand runs up and along Shiro's chest, up his neck, to slide into his hair.]

Shiro...

[He purrs his name softly.]

[He bites down a little harder than he intended to as faint sparks of pleasure catch him by surprise. His hand comes up and grips Keith’s hair as he swipes his tongue over the bite mark.

It’s like a switch flipped in his head. His nips turn to light biting as he follows the line of Keith’s neck to just under his jaw. He leans into the hand in his hair with a content noise.

He finds a good spot on Keith’s neck that would only be half concealed but a shirt collar and sucks on his skin. He has thought about this before but now. No holding back.]

[Keith's voice breaks as those teeth find his skin, fingers tangle in his hair. His own fingers curl to grip as best he can at Shiro's short hair, all encouragement for more than that.

Keith isn't holding back either, but then, Keith never does. When he wants something, when something is important to him, he approaches it with a fixed intensity. This is no different. Really, if anything, it's all the more so because it is Shiro, because Keith wants and needs him with all of his being.

His other hand is still wrapped around Shiro's length, not quite teasing -- at least not intentionally.] Feel good?

Y-yeah, feels great. [His breath comes out in a rush as he draws away from Keith’s neck and kisses the spot he’d made. He leans in and kisses him, licking his way into his Keith with a content sound. The taste of Keith is like coming home. He doesn’t know how he could ever be without him.

The heat sings in his veins as his hand grips Keirh’s dark hair a little tighter. He nips at his lips and shivers as Keith’s hand keeps exploring him. He’s already half hard just from a few simple touches. Shiro draws back to slip his hand down from Keith’s hair down his back,]

Move a little closer. [He says as his hand fingers the waist band of Keith’s boxers and slips inside to give Keith the same kind of attention to his length. He wants to put his mouth on, take him deep and listen to every sound he makes. Later, right now they’re taking their time.]

[Keith smiles at the answer. Good. That's what he wants, and he moans his approval to Shiro's lips as he kisses him back, lips parted, no holding back the yearning or the hunger. Every last nerve on his body feels like it's been set ablaze. He wonders if Shiro knows how he affects him.

His eyes flutter open and it takes him a moment to focus on Shiro's face, but there's a smile curling its way over his lips, playful and bright as he answers,] Yes sir.

[And he scoots in closer, pressing into Shiro's touch, not bothering to pretend he isn't already feeling needy and turned on, isn't already eager for all this, for each newly explored moment.]

Just Takashi to you. [He says as he wraps his hand around Keith’s shaft and strokes up towards the head. He drops his other hand to pull Keith a little closer almost in his lap. Keith wants to explore and he wants to map out Keith’s body.] Strip, these are getting in the way.

[He lets go of Keith and shoves his pajama pants and boxers down. He slips them entirely off and reaches for Keith’s boxers if he isn’t quick enough with a playful smile on his face.] ...you have no idea how much you affect me.

[Keith groans at the touch and then groans all the more when Shiro takes it away, even if the other is right and there are far too many pieces of clothing between them right now. So he slips to his feet and moves to shuck his own shorts, but then he gets a little distracted watching Shiro instead, and is all too happy to allow the help.

He steps closer, reaching out to run a hand through Shiro's hair before he steps out of his boxers. Then it's just a matter of winding his arms around Shiro's shoulders and climbing right into his lap.] Do I? You could always show me, Takashi. [By the time he's speaking his name he's a breath away from Shiro's lips, and he punctuates the statement by finding them, first with teeth and then a proper, heated kiss.]
